This long-term project is introduced in 2017, supported by and being implemented in close cooperation with German based organization “Foerderverein Jay Nepal Youth Programme e.V.” This project aims to give children and youth the opportunity to develop in a stable and safe environment according to their individual abilities and potential and to do sports, to shape their own lives independently and to convey important social values through sports and education.
Programs under this project:
Sports
Ball for Practice (Regular Football Training): Regular football training provided to different age groups (U-7, U-10, U-15 & U- 21) in Nepal Youth Program football training center, Kuleswor
Ball for competitions: participation in football competitions (as of age groups)
Ball for fun (weekly): It is a movement activity where school children were given the possibility to enjoy with different shapes of balls.
Ball for Family (Annual): Once a year, a sports program held involving all the parents engaged with NYP. Through this program, children get to play and enjoy with their family members.
Education
Ball for Early Childhood DevelopmentĀ (Weekly): A weekend program, focusing the children under 8 for their holistic development.
Ball for Learning (Library): This program intends to provide access of Library where children and youth get the possibility to learn and gain knowledge.
Kick and Read: A combined program where children and youth get involved with playing and reading
Workshops and awareness
Leadership enhancement: Focusing the youth, numerous workshops held to enhance own leadership to sharpen the living.
Non-Violent communication and Fair play: Workshops held on managing communication skills and behavior improvements.
